Welcome to Dragon Ass Smoked BBQ, where fire-breathing flavor meets legendary barbecue mastery.
Established in 2022, we are a small business serving a variety of traditional BBQ entrees including brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and ribs. Our primary location is at Cherokee County Cycles, 14660 US 19 in Andrews, North Carolina, and you can also find us on the road at a number of local establishments in western North Carolina and northeastern Georgia. Meet the Owners
AnneMarie and Gary came from Florida where they both retired from their respective careers.
AnneMarie: I retired from the food service industry. My career started at the early age of 10 when my mother bought her first restaurant. I have managed both restaurants and bars and also spent 40 years as a professional mixologist.
Gary: I retired from the insurance field, having owned my own insurance company for 30 years. I have always tinkered with and built many BBQ smokers. During my time in the insurance business, I did BBQ catering for friends and events on the side.
Together, we decided to come to the mountains of North Carolina to try our hand at the food truck business. Thus far, we have been very successful thanks to all of our wonderful customers and clients that keep us busy!
